TIER 02 Bench protocols
- No sponsored builds. Without exception.
- No affiliate links. When we direct outward, we direct to the best source.
- Slow over scaled. Maximum ten entries per revision.
- Open corrections. Posted at the head of the affected entry, dated.
- Human-written, human-edited. Every entry is reviewed by an editor before filing.
TIER 03 Who runs the bench
Wiehandy Index was founded in 2026 as a small editorial bench. The masthead is a working collective of critics, journalists, and editors filing on a freelance basis. Every entry carries a byline; we do not publish anonymous work.
Bench-tested. Honestly. Open access, always. Three lines. The entire protocol.
The editor
Timothée Guillot serves as founding editor. Based in Narbonne. A decade in journalism and screen-culture writing. Address the editor via the contact channel.
TIER 04 Funding
Wiehandy Index is independently funded. No display advertising. No newsletter placements sold. The catalog is supported by its founding editor.
TIER 05 AI tools
We use AI tools (currently Claude by Anthropic) for research, drafting, and editing. Every entry is read, fact-checked, edited, and approved by a human editor before filing. We take full editorial responsibility.
